Canada is cold, slippery

After a bleary eyed no-breakfast full luggage dash across Manhattan to get to our Tour Bus on time, we joined 2 german girls and a whole pile of old asian ladies on our trip up to Canada.

The weather was noticeably colder as early as New Jersey, and the snow set in soon after. It is now very very cold, I long for the island paradise I left behind.

Here is me and Dave outside a Burger King enjoying the novelty of our first few minutes in the snow.

I doubt there will be any more photos like this.

The tour is nice enough so far, with the biggest drawback being that we have to hear every announcement repeated in 3 languages.

Soon after the above Burger King frolic we went to a glass museum, which wasn't half as boring as it sounds.

Dinner was at an all-you-can-eat chinese buffet. They had a chicken nugget tray.

We are at Niagra now. The waterfalls are seriously about 200 meters from the border crossing, lit up with gaudy technicolour casino lights.

The Canadians are a lot more polite than the Americans, it is taking some getting used to. Not nearly as much getting used to as the freezing weather and FRICTIONLESS FOOTPATHS. I nearly fell over and dropped my croissant bag.

freezing indoors and out,
